We have sponsored women in the Hope 4 Women International, in Tororo, Uganda. Many women are left to raise the children on their own with little or no funds. This program gives them self-esteem while teaching them skills on how to run their own business, selling whatever they have made to help them survive. At the end of the year, each lady receives a pink mortarboard that she wears while carrying her diploma as she and her classmates parade down the main street of their village. We also have donated sewing machines to women in this program, enabling them to help themselves.
